8.2 More Detail. Our Cookie Policy at https://www.printsonthefly.com explains the types of cookies we use and how to control them.

8.3 Your Controls. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Site, such as the shopping cart, may not work.

9. DO NOT TRACK AND OPT-OUT PREFERENCE SIGNALS

12.2 Business Transfers. If we merge with, sell assets to or are acquired by another business, or are involved in a financing or reorganization, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to handle it in line with this Policy or give you notice of a material change.

13. NO SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

13.1 Our Position. We do not sell your personal information for money.

13.2 Advertising Technologies. Where advertising or analytics cookies are active on the Site, some state laws treat the data they collect as “sharing” or “sale” in certain circumstances. Section 17 explains how to opt out, and Section 8 and our Cookie Policy explain how to control them.

13.3 Minors. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16.

14. DATA RETENTION

14.1 Retention Principle. We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy, including to fulfil Orders, provide support, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

14.4 Marketing Data. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, after which we keep a record that you opted out so that we do not contact you again.

14.5 Deletion. When we no longer need personal information, we delete or de-identify it.

17.5 Opting Out of Sharing. Where advertising or analytics cookies are used on the Site, you can opt out of them using the cookie controls or by contacting us.

17.6 No Retaliation. We will not treat you unfairly or deny you service because you exercise a privacy right that applies to you.

18. PRIVACY RIGHTS UNDER STATE LAW

18.1 State Laws. Some United States state privacy laws give residents rights over their personal information, such as the right to know, access, correct, delete and opt out. Many of these laws apply only to businesses that meet certain size or data processing thresholds.

18.2 Our Approach. Where a state privacy law applies to us and gives you a right, we will honor it. Whether or not a particular law applies to us, you may make a request under Section 24 and we will consider it in good faith.

18.3 Appeals. If we refuse your request and the law that applies gives you a right to appeal, you may do so by replying to our decision and writing “Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond within the time the law requires.

19. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

19.1 California Law. If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, you have the rights the Act gives you, which we will honor on request as Section 24 describes.

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 lets California residents ask a business that shares personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes what was shared. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

A parent who believes this has happened should contact us at customerservice@printsonthefly.com.

20.3 Products for Children. Parents and guardians may order Products for children. In that case the parent or guardian is the customer and we collect information about the parent or guardian only, except for names or messages the customer chooses to include in Customer Content.
